News Event: Lolita the Orca!
As a kid I always loved whales and they were one of my favorite animals besides the velociraptor. We have a huge issue on our hands with Lolita the orca because she now qualifies for the Endangered Species Act. She currently resides in the Seaquarium and many me seek to free her because of her recent qualification for the act. Lolita is a Puget Sound orca and there are fewer than 80 left in the wild today. The owner of the aquarium, Andrew Hertz, does not want to release her because he feels she wouldn't survive in the wild after being in captivity for so long. Many fight to free her from the aquarium but the question we need to ask is , would she really make it out there on her own?
